While looking for a short cut through a neighborhood, I almost ran directly head-on into this Little Free Library. It was on a small island surrounded by a somewhat cul-de-sac and a sharp right turn. Coming down the street I saw it immediately and pulled over to take a look!

This one needed a little touch up on paint, but there were a few books in it and the door latched. I didn’t leave any books, but this one was fun to find. Look at what is on the sides!

No, I didn’t find the short cut, but I did find this Little Free Library!
I love these free little libraries! I really like them at campgrounds. There is a free little library near the campground on our next trip. I am going to set aside two books to bring along and put in there. Thanks for the reminder! I always want to do this – but I forget!

I think the ones at campgrounds and most in front of homes are always well stocked! I hope you will find a book in the library that you will take to read!

Cute indeed! I found one at Lamar Park and keep meaning to do a post of it–maybe this is my reminder. I think of you each time I walk past it!

They’re like WPA markers when they surprise you! I have the LFL map on my phone, but unless they are chartered they don’t appear there – bring on those surprises!
