THIS is why I have not been able to get motivated about any Christmas decorations or anything Christmas. It is finally fall! After a long, hot, dry summer that left most grass and vegetation a boring brown color fall has burst forth in South Texas! I don’t think I have ever seen such a spectacular display and certainly did not expect anything this year.
How can anyone think about Christmas with all these beautiful colors everywhere?

The Arkansas weathermen have never seen the trees retain their Fall leaves of color so far into the year. Here it is December and vibrant Fall colors.

I need some cold temperatures to catch the Christmas spirit. The fall colors are really beautiful though. The tree in your feature photo is huge! I imagine everyone appreciates all the shade it gives during the hot times.
