Yesterday at lunch I kicked off the Independence Day weekend with an All-American lunch of a fried bologna (AKA baloney) sandwich with cold watermelon. The sweet tea didn’t make it into the picture, but it was part of the meal. I prefer my bologna sandwiches on white toasted bread with French’s mustard and a slice of American cheese between the two pieces of bologna.
If you haven’t tried fried bologna, you really should. Happy July 4th – may freedom ring loud and clear!
I use to have fried bologna sandwiches all the time. Gotta get me some bologna soon and have one of these sandwiches. That picture looks delicious.
